Hilary Glann is a senior marketing executive with more than 24 years of experience building, turning around, and launching technology businesses.
As a Hewlett-Packard marketing Vice President, Hilary grew businesses, redefined product portfolios, revamped channel strategies, and developed new communications plans to improve profitability and market share. Career highlights include enabling dramatic increases in HP's notebook PC business market share and profitability, and defining and launching new product categories for HP's network server business. Hilary's career at HP spanned both consumer and commercial products.
As a founder of Ilima Partners, Hilary has worked with both large and small technology companies on new product, channel, communications and partnership initiatives. Highlights include:
- Conducting customer interviews and analysis to help a Web 2.0 company determine the best features and positioning for a new collaborative online shopping service
- Conducting market analyses and creating a business plan for a large IT solutions provider assessing whether to enter the consumer digital entertainment services market
- Creating channel strategies and supporting programs for a communications software company and a storage solutions provider
- Evaluating a new channel opportunity for a web services company targeting small businesses
- Conducting messaging and product concept development workshops with a variety of companies to determine how they want to present themselves and their products to the market
- Assisting a social networking software provider with improving the messaging and positioning of offerings
- Enabling companies who have gone through acquisitions, mergers or other changes to standardize their core marketing processes and deliverables
- Working with a commercial products provider to develop a social networking site for small businesses.
Hilary received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Stanford University and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).

About Skyles Runser
As a Principal of Ilima Partners, Sky Runser has helped established companies as well as start-ups address a wide variety of business and marketing challenges. Sky has developed marketing strategies, developed and executed launches for both new companies and new products, driven customer acquisition campaigns, created customer reference strategies and tools, and conducted audits of sales tools and assets. Additionally, Sky has led Messaging and Positioning Strategy and Testing; Channel Strategies and materials; Business Plan development; Website strategy and review; and conversion of highly technical information into readable sales materials directed at Line of Business buyers.
Prior to that, Sky served as both an operating executive and senior management consultant during his past 16 years in Silicon Valley and overseas. At Hyperion Solutions, where he served as Director, Web, Sky's teams drove numerous, award-winning launches to support corporate goals. Prior to that, Sky served as Director, Netscape.com for AOL-TimeWarner, where his teams drove record levels of revenue, registrations and retention for AOL Web Properties and where he also held several positions in market and business development. Sky also worked in product marketing at Quantum Corp. (notebook and desktop disk drive storage devices). At both Quantum and Netscape Sky worked with and for sales organizations to deliver marketing programs that met sales needs and drove revenue and profit growth. At A.T. Kearney, the global management consulting firm, Sky drove multiple industry benchmarking studies to identify best practices and increase client profitability, as well as worked on a global sourcing initiative with a major auto manufacturer.
Sky received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) where he was a Rothschild Scholar and his Bachelors Degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
